  Operating system: Windows
If you are having problems connecting to web sites when you try to use
Spry's "Internet-in-a-box" software with the Netscape Navigator, then
you should edit your "NETSCAPE.INI" file to set "Use Asynch DNS" to
"No", and "Max Connections" to "1". Both of these settings are in the
"[Network]" section of the "NETSCAPE.INI" file.

The problem is that Spry's networking software ("winsock") does not
properly handle asynchronous DNS lookups. A major difference between
the Netscape Navigator and the Mosaic browser is that Netscape uses
asynchronous DNS lookups to allow multiple connections at the same
time; this lets the user see a web page while it is downloading,
instead of having to wait until it has completely downloaded before
anything is shown.
